Can anyone tell me if you have planned a destination wedding, where are some good locations?

I am planning a small destination wedding for possibly spring 2008 or early summer. I was oriiginally thinking the caribbean but Florida would be nice too, the keys or the gulf coast. I have been checking out different websites but I am a bit leary of having someone remotly planning everything. So I am just wondering if anyone has done it that way and were you happy you did it that way? Any suggestiions.recommendations appreciated!

My nephew and his wife just got married in Hawaii in February 2007 and it was spectacular! And the wedding planners were great over there! We got to see the pictures of the ceremony, etc and it was absolutely gorgeous and they did such a good job, great quality photography, etc. Good luck and God Bless your marriage.
I know of a few people that had destination weddings. They turned out very nice. One was the garden at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Bahamas, the Riviera Maya in Mexico, Jamaica, and Aruba. Everyone that was married out in those places were satisfied.
