We had the resort put together gift baskets with a bottle of champagne and two glasses, cheeses and crackers, chocolates, and fruits. The guests loved them.

I live in Las Vegas, and I can tell you. The weather here is DRY. You want to have a survival kit. Choose a few of these:
sunglasses
sunblock for the face
lip balm
a nice bottle of water(spring)
lotion with a 15 SPF or higher
a spritzer bottle, or Paul Mitchell Awawpuhi Moisture Mist
brochures for TIX4TONIGHT(half price show tickets)
directions to the Las Vegas Outlet Mall(they have a Saks and a Noritake Outlet there)
a $5-$25 casino chip

-maps of the strip with all of the local clubs, casinos, etc. labeled

-playing cards

-sunglasses (to help with their poker faces)

-vegas postcards

-a list of “must-see” sights and shows while in the area

Oriental Trading has soem fun “casino” themed stuff, the chocolate novelties would be fun.

Vegas is a great place for a wedding. My cousin was married there (at the Bellagio) in December. If I were getting married in Vegas this is what I’d include in the welcome bags…

1) Vegas Keychain or shot glass
2) A Deck of Cards or dice
3) Postcards
4) Snacks — the hotels are SOOO expensive. I bought a little cracker/cheese thing and paid like $1.50
5) Water — bottles of water at the Flamingo Hilton were like $5.00
6) Map or the city or a list of great sites — if you have trekkies in the group you can recommend the Star Trek Experience at the Vegas Hilton (not the Hilton on the strip)…
7) Include info on Fremont Street – If you can afford it get them a pair of tickets to see “Zumanity” the Cirque du soleil’s “over 18″ show.
9) you can also include bath/body products — since some of the hotels give you cheapies
10) Maybe a CD of a Vegas show — like Elton John or Celine or whatever
11) disposable Camera

That’s what I’d include.

I would include show listings, great restaurants listing, the casinos deck of cards and $25 in casino chips.

That can run expensive (chips), an alternative might be a a small figurine from the casino.

Sun glasses, (maybe with your wedding dates imprinted on the sides). Casino Chips. Map of the destinations (of the wedding, receptions and stuff.). Breath mints, maybe vouchers for drinks at the hotel, ask the hotel what is available. They will help I am sure.

You can include maps and booklets of things to do in the area. Maybe you can ask the hotel they are staying at if they have any coupons that you could give your guests…maybe you can buy them a gift certificate for a free meal at the hotels buffet/restaurant. Maybe even add a few chips or voucher for them to gamble with.
Make a wedding itinerary with all the activities that you have planned that weekend…be sure to include directions and transportation options for your guests.
Include snack items like chips, soda, candy, etc…I was just in Las Vegas and they wanted $5 for a bag of chips, so I am sure that your guests would appreciate some nice snacks and goodies.
If they have children you can put in some coloring books, crayons, etc.
