Fake tanning your face for a destination wedding?

April 23rd, 2010 by admin | Filed under Destination Wedding.

I’m in a destination wedding, have to be photographed. I have rosacea, and can’t tan my face. My body gets REALLY tan though. What makeup or of a spray tan would you use prior to going? I find makeup never gets dark enough or looks fake and cakey. Would spray tan be better??

Go to a tanning salon and get a Mystic Tan. They are awesome, last for about a week, and look very natural after the initial shower.
Also, I haven’t tried it for faces but it is awesome for bodies (so I’m guessing will be great on your face too): Jergens Natural Glow (they have a special one for faces). Good luck!

I would ask your dermatologist if they can recommend a non allergenic brand. preferably one of the dept store counters so you can go there and try the product and get expert advice. I would look at bronzers and find one in your shade but don’t actually tan your face, no one expects your face to be the same exact color as your body.

try jergens daily glow and also just put regular lotion on after so you dont get strikes

DON”T get a Mystic Tan! Go to a tanning place that offers airbrush tanning. A person will actually individually airbrush you. You can just get your face and neck done. With the lotions you do at home, you really have to apply it carefully, expecially around your hairline and eyebrows.
