Bridal Shower Thank you Cards & Wedding Thank you Cards

February 27th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

There is a lot of stationery involved when planning a wedding. This is due to the numerous events that surround the wedding itself and each event has it’s own set of stationery. One of the most important pieces of stationery is a thank you card, and there are lots of them. Bridal shower thank you cards, wedding shower thank you cards, marriage announcement thank you cards, Bachelorette party thank you cards, rehearsal dinner thank you cards, elopement announcement thank you cards, engagement announcement and engagement party thank you cards, and last but not least, wedding thank you cards.

Depending on the event, the bridal shower and wedding thank you cards will each state something different. There are some thank you cards that are only used to thank the guest for coming to the event, as gifts are not generally given at the event. This is the case for Bachelorette party invitation cards, engagement announcement thank you cards (if the announcement wasn’t at a party) and rehearsal dinner thank you cards.

Other events will bring many gifts and in these cases, the guest needs to be thanked both for their attendance and for the gift that was received. These thank you cards include bridal shower thank you cards, wedding shower thank you cards, marriage announcement thank you cards, elopement announcement thank you cards, engagement party thank you cards, and wedding thank you cards.

The tone of the cards sent will depend on the tone of the event. Generally wedding thank you cards will be the most formal, as the wedding thank you cards wording is often also the most formal. Bridal shower thank you cards can be a bit more casual but these too, usually lean towards a more formal tone with formal bridal shower thank you card wording. Marriage announcement thank you cards, rehearsal dinner thank you cards, elopement thank you cards, engagement announcements and engagement party thank you cards, are also a bit more casual but will always keep with the tone of the event. The least formal of all are Bachelorette party thank you cards, and parties such as lingerie bridal shower thank you cards.

The wedding and bridal shower thank you cards wording should reflect the tone of the event. For a bridal shower that’s held during the day at someone’s house could have quite casual bridal shower thank you wording. Something such as “Thanks for attending my bridal shower and helping me celebrate the big day!” would be appropriate. For a lingerie bridal shower, the lingerie bridal shower thank you cards should say something fun. “I can’t wait to knock Robert’s socks off with your lovely present that I am so grateful for!” could be something written on a lingerie bridal shower thank you card.

The wedding thank you cards should also reflect the tone of the wedding. For formal weddings, you may want to include “You’re generous gift will be of great help to us as we start our lives together.” But for a more informal wedding thank you card you may want to make it very personal such as, “We loved the dinnerware that you gave us! We can’t wait to use it!”

Whatever event you’re sending wedding thank you cards for, it should always keep with the tone of the event’s invitation or theme of the party.

Bridal Shower Invitations Wording Ideas, Wedding Announcements Wording Verses and Sayings for Wedding Invitations Cards

February 24th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

For all of the invitations and that are sent out for weddings, the wording is perhaps the most important. The wording for these pieces of stationery will set the tone for the event and give guests a good idea as to what to expect. The most important pieces of stationery that are sent out need the best wording and this means paying particular attention to bridal shower invitations wording, wedding announcements wording, wedding shower invitations wording, and marriage announcements wedding.Bridal shower invitations wordings, verses and sayings can be kept very fun and light, especially if the event is going to be a casual affair, such as a lingerie bridal shower.

Traditional bridal shower invitation wording could say, “Please join us for a bridal shower in honor of the bride-to-be, Elizabeth Clark,” and follow with the details of the shower. Bridal showers can also be casual. For instance, a lingerie bridal shower wording could say, ”Elizabeth is about to walk down the aisle; Let’s shower her with silk and lace that will make the groom smile.” However formal the event, the bridal shower invitations wording needs to be focusing attention on the bride and the theme of the event.

Events such as bridal showers also require thank you cards. Bridal shower thank you card wording should also keep within the theme of the event. If the shower was formal, with formal invitations and perhaps catering, the bridal shower thank you card wording should reflect that. The bride can generally write whatever she wishes on the inside of the card but the bridal shower thank you card wording that’s printed on the front of the card should say something such as, “I am filled with gratitude for your presence at my bridal shower.” For something more casual such as a lingerie bridal shower, the bridal shower thank you card wording could say, “Thanks for coming to my shower; I’m thrilled that you were there! To start my marriage off right, thanks for the underwear!”

Wedding announcements wording, elopement announcements wording, and engagement announcements wording will all be fairly alike. These announcements are simply to tell people that you have wed, or that you will be wed. Elopement announcement wording can be much like wedding announcement wording and does not necessarily need to include the fact that you have eloped. Something such as, “Ms. Elizabeth Clark and Richard Dayton were married on June 30, 2007” would be appropriate.

Rehearsal dinner invitation wording can be a little bit tricky as many of the guests may not be sure what to expect from the rehearsal dinner. For a formal ceremony, the rehearsal dinner usually means rehearsing the ceremony, with dinner to follow. This rehearsal dinner invitation wording could say, “We request your presence at the rehearsal dinner on June 29th, to rehearse the ceremony with a delicious meal to follow.” For a casual wedding there may be no actual rehearsal required so this rehearsal dinner invitation wording could say, “Let’s sit down to eat together before the stress of the big day!”

Whatever stationery you are sending out, the wording is very important. Online retailers and wedding planners can help with unique bridal shower wording ideas, wedding announcements wording verses and sayings for bridal shower invitations that will be perfect for any piece of wedding mail you are sending out.

Bridal Shower Invitations and Wedding Announcements – Everything you Ever Wanted to Know

February 17th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Elope

Getting married is a very exciting time but there are many details to be taken care of beforehand. One of these responsibilities is sending out Bridal Shower Invitations. Sending out Bridal Shower Invitations may not seem like a big task but it’s important to keep the Bridal Shower Invitations fun while conveying the tone of the shower and including important information. Many people choose to use the theme and colors of the wedding when doing anything that is wedding related. This includes Bridal Shower Invitations, Wedding Announcements, wedding shower invitations, marriage announcements, Bachelorette party invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, elopement announcements, engagement announcements, engagement party invitations, bridal shower thank you cards, and of course, wedding invitations.

One of the key factors in any kind of mailing is the wording that is used. This is especially true for Bridal Shower Invitations, Wedding Announcements, wedding shower invitations, marriage announcements, rehearsal dinner invitations, elopement announcements, engagement announcements and engagement party invitations, and wedding invitations.

There are many bridal shower and Wedding Announcements wording ideas. On a surprise bridal shower invitation you may want to say, “Don’t tell but we’re having a surprise shower for Mary Smith…” Another fun way to word Bridal Shower Invitations may be for a recipe shower. Here is where you would enclose two index cards and have the guest write a recipe on one and a recipe for love on the other. To add to the theme of the bridal shower invitation, one may request that gifts come in the form of kitchen items. For a lingerie bridal shower invitation, you may want to say something whimsical such as, “Robert and Lynne fell in love as we all saw, now let’s throw her a party with gifts of bras!”

Besides wording, you want the Bridal Shower Invitations to comply with the theme of the party. If you’re hosting a recipe bridal shower, then the Bridal Shower Invitations may be displayed with a border of different kitchen gadgets and utensils. Lingerie Bridal Shower Invitations could be in the shape of a bustier or a set of bra and panties. Bachelorette party invitations can also be very fun and playful, as that generally keeps within the theme of the party. If the Bachelorette party is being held in a bar for example, the Bachelorette party invitation may come in the shape of a martini glass.

Wedding shower invitations and Wedding Announcements can also come in a wide variety of themes but will generally be a bit more formal and will most definitely stay within the theme of the wedding. For example, wedding announcement wording could say, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith are honoured to announce the wedding of their daughter…” These announcements however, don’t always need to be extremely formal. For an elopement announcement where the ceremony may not have taken place in a conventional setting, the wording may be something such as, “Ms. Karen Smith and Mr. John Brown honored their love by eloping while on vacation on a Bahamian cruise.”

Destination Weddings – How To Manage Your Bridal Accessories

February 10th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Destination Wedding

If you have planned on a destination wedding, you will definitely need a few bridal accessories to make the occasion more beautiful. Most destination weddings take place with only a few family and friends being invited. The bridal accessories you choosedepends on the destination your wedding will take place in and the kind of wedding you plan on having. People who plan destination wedding usually want to escape the commotion of the city and everyday life and break away from tradition. You will require a few bridal accessories, amonth other things, to make your destination wedding special.

The bridal accessories you require for a destination wedding depends on what type of wedding you are having. For example, tropical clothing would suite a Jamaican wedding along with some a small cake and some lingerie, which usually features as a wedding package included along with your reception dinner and room. There is not much else you will need in terms of bridal accessories. You can announce your wedding by sending out wedding announcements to your family and friends informing them of your upcoming nuptials at the destination that you have chosen. This way you can tell others about your wedding without them having to be there.

You will have to send thank you cards in case you receive gifts. This is perhaps why people prefer destination weddings. All the money that would have been spent on an elaborate and big wedding can now go into a special wedding/honeymoon. Choose a destination that caters to all that you need for a perfect wedding. Another beautiful destination for weddings could be the Rocky Mountains. There are many who simply love the mountains and would do anything to get married there. Here too you will need specific bridal accessories.

You wardrobe will depend on what time of the year you are going and accordingly you have to take fall or winter clothing. Mountains are beautiful for winter weddings and you can even choose to have a theme wedding that all your family members and friends can attend. Your ceremony can over look the valleys and the gullies and this would be simply enchanting. You could have a beautiful chiffon dress with a gentle print pattern and your bouquet can be of wildflowers to signify the wilderness.

For destination weddings, you can either have one where everyone you know can travel to and participate in, or you can fly away to a quite place for a more intimate and cozy wedding. Whichever you choose, don’t forget to take your bridal accessories with you. But you probably wont require much for a destination wedding and you will only have to carry a bit more than your clothes. The wedding party is entirely planned out by the places which offer such weddings. All you need to concern yourself with is going there and enjoying yourself.

If you are not having a traditional wedding, can you still have a bridal shower?

February 5th, 2010 by admin | 10 Comments | Filed in Destination Wedding

My fiance and I do not have the money for a traditional wedding. We have decided to get married in the mountains on an elopement package. However, I still want to have a lingerie bridal shower. Would it be wrong to do this?
