I am planning a small destination wedding for possibly spring 2008 or early summer. I was oriiginally thinking the caribbean but Florida would be nice too, the keys or the gulf coast. I have been checking out different websites but I am a bit leary of having someone remotly planning everything. So I am just wondering if anyone has done it that way and were you happy you did it that way? Any suggestiions.recommendations appreciated!

Besides the beach, where is a great place this is somewhat affordable and fun to have a destination wedding? I live in the DC Metro area.
