I am planning a small destination wedding for possibly spring 2008 or early summer. I was oriiginally thinking the caribbean but Florida would be nice too, the keys or the gulf coast. I have been checking out different websites but I am a bit leary of having someone remotly planning everything. So I am just wondering if anyone has done it that way and were you happy you did it that way? Any suggestiions.recommendations appreciated!

My fiance and I want to run off and wed just the two of us and come back and throw a big reception which will probably be held a few months down the road. Is it still considered eloping if you tell people before since the definition of eloping is to run away secretly with ones beloved. Also, would it be improper for us to register for gifts?
I am interviewing for two jobs and I need to know when it is appropriate to let them know that I have to take off for a week in the summer for a destination wedding. It is family…not just some friend and I have paid $3000.00 for the accommodations already. I just don’t know if I need to do this during the interview process or wait until I have the job offer? Thanks!
Even though we are in love, and we know that we are the ones for each other. Plus I am 24 and able to make up my own mind.
