Do All Weddings Matter?

Sadly, the Big Wedding Vendors refer to Small Weddings and Elopements as the “Low End” of the wedding industry. This condescending demeanor may lead you to the question of whether an elopement is a valid way to get married. Must you have a big traditional wedding to consider yourselves married? Do all weddings matter?

Surprising Cost Insight

The data is in, according to a new study, the higher the cost of the wedding the higher the risk of divorce! Big weddings average cost is $25,000 or more. Couples that spend over $20,000 on their wedding are 46% more likely to divorce. Contrast that to the average cost of an all-inclusive elopement package of $1,000 to 2,500. The eloping couples spending less than $1,000 to get married are 53% less likely to get divorced. Now that matters!
