In our monthly sweepstakes draw for June 2013, North Carolina couple Thomas and Laura were the lucky winners of a Mexican Honeymoon Vacation. This truly deserving couple were initially teenage sweethearts who were reunited over twenty years later.

“We were first loves…she was 15 and I was 16 then turned 17. After our breakup, we are finally back together for good after 24 long years!!!!! She is the love of my life and I waited all this time for her! She is now 39 and I’m 40 and will be 41 in October,” said Thomas.

July 2013 Sweepstakes Winners

Kacey and Chwanda from Georgia were the lucky sweepstakes winners of a 5 day/4 night Mexico Honeymoon Vacation with an approximate value of $600. Kacey was actually the first person to enter our sweepstakes proving that sometimes the early bird does indeed get the worm! Kacey and Chwanda will be able to choose from accommodations in either Cancun or Puerto Vallarta.

Kacey shared their fantastic story with us. “Me and my wife Chwanda got legally married 8 times from April 8-12, 2013. We took our 7 children ages 11-17 on a road trip to get married in (at the time) 8 of the 10 marriage equality states; New York, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maryland and DC.  We are continuing our journey into 2014 with the passage of marriage equality in Delaware, Rhode Island and Minnesota, and California plus hitting up Washington and Iowa.  I think a honeymoon alone WITHOUT the kids, would give us some quality KID-FREE time to strengthen us, our love and our marriages and bring us even closer together.”

Our second winner for the month of July was Missouri couple Casey and Alex from Nixa who won a $50 gift certificate for a bridal bouquet and matching boutonniere from Elope in St. Louis.

“I am marrying my high school sweetheart we have been together for 6 years now.  We have been through many ups and downs. Just recently he has decided to join the U.S. Army. He is the love of my life I am thankful to have him,” said Casey.
