Missouri Best Places To Elope
Where are the Missouri Best Places To Elope?
The most famous location in Missouri is of course St. Louis. We delved into the world of St. Louis elopements back in August when we discussed some of the stunning venues that the city has to offer including Moonrise Hotel, Park Avenue Mansion, and the Lodge at Grant’s Trail. We also ventured across the river to Alton, IL to check out Beall Mansion. Since we have already showcased some of St. Louis’ elopement stars, this time around let’s venture further afield and look at a few of the hidden gems that Missouri has to offer.
The Lake of the Ozark’s is a large reservoir in central Missouri and its banks play home to many small towns including Osage Beach. It is here that you will find The Inn at Harbour Ridge – a romantic location where you can arrange an elopement for less than $199. The inn is certainly set up for newlyweds with its feather beds, an abundance of relaxing decks and patios, starlit hot tubs, and whirlpool tubs meant to seat two. When it comes to Missouri elopements it just doesn’t get much more romantic than this!
Branson may be best know as a vacation spot for the older generations or country music fans, but it is also a lovely spot for couples who want to elope to Missouri. Emory Creek Victorian B&B has a gorgeous garden gazebo which is the ideal location for any intimate wedding ceremony. If you prefer an indoor ceremony then the Victoria Parlor is also an option. Elopement packages include an officiant, live piano music, an overnight stay in the bridal suite, and a 4-course breakfast!
Staying with the Victorian theme that is so popular throughout Missouri, the LoganBerry Inn in Fulton is also the perfect spot for your elopement. The inn was built in 1899 and the Victorian architecture has been preserved faithfully. Weddings can be conducted in either the Gazebo or Parlor and both a minister and witnesses can be provided. Couples can also enjoy a champagne toast and will be given a keepsake photograph on CD.
Kansas City is home to The Inn on Crescent Lake, a Georgian Colonial style mansion sitting in 22 acres of land. The inn has 10 luxury rooms including the Ballroom Suite which is offered as part of the ‘Wedding for Two’ package which also includes up to 8 ceremony guests, champagne toast with keepsake flutes, provision of witnesses if required, minister, keepsake photo CD, and wedding cake all for around $800.
