Traffic – How to Fill Your Sales Funnel?

How to Fill Your Sales Funnel?

By Dave Westfall

As an elopement vendor your main priority is basically to get more elopement bookings and in order to do so you need more website Visitor traffic. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how to fill your sales funnel.

How to Increase Website Visitor Traffic

When it comes to traffic, there are only three ways to increase it: you can buy it, you can borrow it or you can build it!

1. Buying traffic involves paying for ads on a variety of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Adwords, Bing and Yahoo – in other words : Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing. You can also buy traffic with Advertising Subscriptions on Vendor Directories such as TripAdvisor.com, BedandBreakfast.com, TheKnot.com, MyWedding.com and of course, with Subscriptions and Pre-Qualified Leads in your area, when available, from WhereToElope.com.

2. Borrowing traffic relates to tapping into someone else’s visitor traffic by taking advantage of any opportunity that presents itself to you. Most commonly this involves social media marketing. That does not just mean using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – Social Media Marketing (SMM) goes way beyond that to include blogging, tweeting, Linkedin.com forum discussions, Yahoo Answers, Instagram and Amazon book or product reviews. A good idea we’ve found is to set up Google Alerts for your main keywords and then make sure that you comment on any interesting alerts that land in your email box. For example, if you get an alert that shows someone on a forum or other discussion based website asking for elopement or wedding venues in your area, then you can make sure you get in there and promote yourself as a local vendor. Such an alert can also be turned into a content curation blog or shared via your social media platforms to generate discussions and inquiries.

3. Building traffic relates to the all important Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The main purpose of SEO is to make you more visible in terms of search engine rankings. Many vendors underestimate just how valuable it is to be ranked number 1 by Google for their main keyword(s). We feel that it is so important that Dave created a separate website called www.DiscoverYourExistingDemand.com to show you the value! There are over 200 ranking factors when it comes to SEO and they are changing all the time, so it is important to keep on top of the latest changes or hire someone, like Dave, who does. You may have found that the recent Panda and Penguin updates from Google had a negative impact on your website because of duplicate content – if this is the case, please let us know, so that we can help you to repair the damage.
