Each year here at WhereToElope.com we like to put together a list of the top 20 best places to elope based on the preferences of our readers. This year the results were very interesting because things got shaken up a little bit from what we have come to expect. One of the first things that caught our attention was the fact that not one, but two Canadian Provinces made it into the top 20 places this year in the form of Ontario at number 10 and British Columbia at number 16. It also surprised us to see that Hawaii dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time ever and is now sitting in 19th place on the list! Let’s get started with our best places to elope in 2017.

As noted, for the first time ever two Canadian Provinces actually made it into the top twenty and one of those was Ontario which broke into the top 10. This is fantastic because here at WhereToElope.com we have long held the belief that Canada is totally underrated as an elopement destination. Tennessee may be known best for its connection to music, but it is also a hot spot in the elopement industry. With an abundance of stunning venues and intimate inns and hotels it is easy to see why. Perhaps you are dreaming of a fairytale wedding? If so then you will want to look at Storybrook Farm Bed & Breakfast. Alternatively, you might prefer an intimate wedding at Butterfly Hollow set in the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau.
The number 8 spot this year is occupied by beautiful Pennsylvania.
